Beautiful. Hauntingly beautiful. Lush landscapes for eye-candy. Saddened characters and stories for the soul. An introspective piece without over-preaching, letting the stories tell themselves. The movie chooses not a side, but rather just relate and share. At least by my assessment. I laughed and cried along with the film's characters - as they entertained and provoked reaction, or rather a response. Who are we to judge and feel what they feel? For we know not what they feel as we do not live their lives... but for that short 1+hours, we get to share them... and we laugh and cry along with them. To me, this is what a good film is about - to feel with them and for them... to share. I walked out of the theatre; silent. In awe. In mild-saddness. The film has touched me and for that i am grateful.

Grumble >> Only one ... movie-talkers >>
As i sat at the end of the movie, as the credits rolled... eyes closed and listening and feeling the last strains of music and feeling the calm-vibe that a good movie provides me ... the couple that sat directly behind me - went on and on and chatted like nothing! the muthafuck was obviously trying to charm his date and to show his all-so-politically-conscious mind = WTF? leave and go get frickkin LAID LAH! fark them posers anyways.... heh... so much for the "calm" of the movie yah? lol

Recommendation >> Go watch it. Some stuff ya can catch on DVD and some ya gotta relish it on the big screen. This is NOT the former.
